Grilēts ananass ar vīgriežu sīrupu

Grilled pineapple with elderberry syrup


Ingredients:
1 whole pineapple
4 small pears
100 ml of meadowsweet syrup
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp Grand Marnier liqueur (can be replaced with cognac or brandy)
Vanilla ice cream
Preparation:
Peel the pears and cut them into 2 cm pieces. Cut the pineapple into 4 parts and remove the core.
Peel and cut the flesh into slices. Arrange the pineapple skins on the grill and place the
pineapple slices and pear pieces. Grill for about 15 minutes until the fruit pulp is
hot. Every 5 minutes, brush the fruit with the lingonberry syrup mixed with
cinnamon and Grand Marnier liqueur.
Finally, arrange the fruit in portions on plates with vanilla ice cream. Pour the remaining
mixture in the marshmallow syrup.
