Ingredients:
4 eggs
250 ml brown sugar
250 ml rye flour
3 tbsp birch sap syrup
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
8 medium-sized apples
Preparation:
Peel and cut the apples into pieces. Beat the eggs with sugar and add the flour, birch syrup, cinnamon and baking soda. Mix everything and stir the sliced apples into the batter. Fill the mold and bake at 180C for 30-40 minutes. Check the readiness by inserting a wooden skewer into the cake; if the skewer comes out dry, the cake is ready. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, topped with birch sap syrup.
