Apple cake with rye flour and birch sap syrup

Ingredients:

4 eggs

250 ml brown sugar

250 ml rye flour

3 tbsp birch sap syrup

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp baking soda

8 medium-sized apples

Preparation:

Peel and cut the apples into pieces. Beat the eggs with sugar and add the flour, birch syrup, cinnamon and baking soda. Mix everything and stir the sliced ​​apples into the batter. Fill the mold and bake at 180C for 30-40 minutes. Check the readiness by inserting a wooden skewer into the cake; if the skewer comes out dry, the cake is ready. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, topped with birch sap syrup.
